During your transition into your new lifestyle you may dread having to throw away the things you used to love the most. Thankfully, you don't have to cancel those foods from your diet completely. You just need to improve the standard recipe so you can make it healthier.
I believe in order to be successful throughout this journey it's okay to return to those flavors that made you love your comfort foods. You just need to swap out those unhealthy parts of those foods for healthier options. For example, swap bread with lettuce wraps or instead of potatoes for fries use different vegetables like zucchini. Changing your method of cooking can help eliminate unnecessary fats and oils too. I invested in an air fryer earlier this year and it completely changed my life. You can still get the crispiness of deep frying without using any oil! That thing is seriously magical.
One of my comfort foods is buffalo wings. I could eat them all day everyday, but they're definitely not a healthy option. The recipe I am sharing with you today reminds me of a tasty buffalo wing without all of the unhealthy stuff it comes with. Check it out!
